The collected Works of Sri Ramana Maharshi

318 p. - pb - Sriramanasramam
This work contains almost everything written by Sri Ramana Maharshi. His inspired compositions, and a number of translations from ancient Advaitic texts, representing the essence of His teachings. They fall into two categories - those which exemplify the path of surrender through love and devotion to the Divine, and those which are more doctrinal. The first group includes the Five Hymns to Sri Arunachala of which the first poem. The Marital Garland of Letters `is among the most profound and moving poems in any language' and expresses the attitude of the soul aspiring for union with God.

Sri Sadhu Om: The Path of Sri Ramana - I

171 p. - pb - Sri Ramana Kshetra
In this book the exact method of practising the enquiry `Who am I?' is analysed and explained in a clear, coherent and scientific manner, taking as authority only the Tamil works of Sri Bhagavan and not relying merely upon the translations of them or upon the various conversations with him recorded by devotees in other languages. It is for this reason that this book has been widely acclaimed by sincere devotees of Sri Ramana, including such senior disciples as Sri Natananandar, to be a definitive work on his teachings.

Sri Sadhu Om: The Path of Sri Ramana - II

250 p. - pb - Sri Ramana Kshetra
What is true spirituality? The subject of defining it is vast enough to fill this book.
The correct way as defined and exemplified by Sri Ramana Maharshi, to approach `spirituality', that is, the life of the spirit (and not the life of the body), is opened for us. From the teachings of Sri Ramana viewed in the true light thrown by this book we are able to clear out our misunderstandings on the subject and prevented from straying away on the so many side paths which are only mistaking and misusing spirituality for ends that have very little to do with it.

Pupul Jayakar: J. Krishnamurti

A biography
518 p. - pb - zwartwit foto's - Penguin India
A classic biography of one of the greatest spiritual teachers of our time
In 1909, when he was fourteen, Krishnamurti was proclaimed the world teacher-to-be in whom Maitreay, the Bodhisattva of compassion, would manifest. The proclamation was made by Annie Besant of the Theosophical Society, a movement that combined Western occult philopsophy with Buddhist and Hindu teachings. Besant trained Krishnamurti in his role as the chosen one but twenty years later he chose to disband the order he was head of and set out alone on his endless journey... As a contemporary of Krishnamurti and one of his closest asscociates, Pupul Jayakar offers an insider's view of the fascinating life and thought of an extraordinary individual.
