Iedereen kan aan de Bibliotheek van het Hart meedoen. Is er een boek dat jouw spirituele leven veel richting en kleur gaf? Dan nodigen wij je uit om dit lievelingsboek voor een maand ter beschikking te stellen aan de bibliotheek. We vragen je ook om in een niet te lange tekst (van ongeveer 500 woorden) te beschrijven waarom je juist dit spirituele boek zo bijzonder vindt. Deze tekst, met een fotootje van jou erbij komt ter inzage bij de speciale bibliotheekkast in het hart van de winkel te liggen, in een map die we daarvoor samenstellen.

Lees in dit boek de adviezen van een spirituele coach aan zijn jonge leerlingen. Thomas a Kempis schreef De navolging van Christus in de veertiende eeuw voor monniken in opleiding. Zijn boek werd al snel grenzeloos populair, ook bij mensen die gewoon in de wereld leefden. Hun beweging wordt de Moderne Devotie genoemd. En dit boek werd na de
Bijbel het meest gelezen boek van de christenheid!

Maar wat kun jij er nu mee? Mink de Vries heeft De navolging helemaal omgeschreven in gewone taal. Het is nog steeds een pittig boek. Het spreekt je aan op je keuzen. Staat dwars op wat nu normaal is: rijk worden, je kansen pakken, het maken. De Navolging is voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar wat echt en waar is.
